Martin O’Malley has a message for Wall Street — you can’t make an honest buck there.
But in his video, “How to make an honest buck on Wall Street with Martin O’Malley,” the former Maryland governor unintentionally delivers another one with his guitar playing — how unrecognizable he is. In Manhattan, President Barack Obama got nearly 84% of the vote in 2012, but O’Malley seemed to have few interactions with locals.
The video says the Democratic candidate for president earned $1.74 in change (and a packet of gummy bears), which was shot Wednesday.
The RealClearPolitics average of polls has O’Malley a distant fourth in the race to be the Democratic nominee, behind former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Sen. Bernie Sanders and Vice President Joe Biden.
